Hazard identification not required - product not regarded as a health hazard under current legislation.
4. FIRST AID MEASURES
Inhalation: No hazard.
Skin Contact: In our long experience, the product is not a primary irritant; prolonged and repeated contact can cause a reaction, especially to sensitive skins. Barrier creams or gloves in these cases are necessary.
Eye Contact: These products may cause smarting. Irrigate thoroughly with warm water. If symptoms persist,
seek medical advice.
Ingestion: These products are unlikely to be unintentionally ingested in sufficient quantity to cause discomfort.
In cases of large quantity ingestion, use an emetic and obtain medical advice at once.
5. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES
Extinguishing Media: No restriction necessary. These adhesives are non-flammable, having no flash point, and therefore no special precautions are necessary. There is no restriction on extinguishing needed.
Hazardous Decomposition Products: Carbon Dioxide and Carbon Monoxide.
6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
Spill Clean-Up Methods: Spillages of the made up hot liquid may be peeled from most surfaces when cool, or
mopped up with hot water and disposed of according to Local Authority Regulations.
Cleaning: Wash all equipment with warm water. If the adhesive has dried, it is preferable to soak the equipment
in cold water for 1 to 2 hours first.
7. HANDLING AND STORAGE
Storage: Stored in its dry state as supplied, in dry and uncontaminated conditions, the product will remain usable for at least twelve months.
Handling: When handled in a dry state it is unlikely that barrier creams or gloves will be necessary, as contamination is very unlikely.
8. EXPOSURE CONTROLS AND PERSONAL PROTECTION
Ingredient Name: No disclosure necessary.
Preservatives are present in extremely small quantities, so they are not harmful. The product will therefore grow mould within a matter of days once it has been mixed with water, at which time it is necessary to dispose of it. It presents no danger - provided the general precautions (as note number 4 and 6 of this leaflet) are followed.

A traditional Pearl glue derived from animal protein. A glue of low colour and odour which dissolves readily in water.

Stability: Stable. If stored correctly, product will remain in a usable state for at least twelve months.

Non-toxic.
12. ECOLOGICAL INFORMATION
Degradability: Being natural products they are environmentally friendly and are biodegradable. Paper and board bonded with these products are recyclable.

The dried adhesive can be disposed of with normal waste in accordance with Local Authority Regulations.
