Terms and ConditionsPayment We accept payment via Paypal, cheque, postal orders, cash in GB Pound Sterling, Euros or Dollars, direct bank transfer. Cheques should be payable to 'Charnwood Books'. If wishing to pay by bank transfer please request our bank details. Security We accept secure online payments via Paypals secure servers, A paypal account is no longer required to make payments, its now simply a matter of selecting which card you wish to have debited. We do not store your card details, we don't even see them. When you purchase goods from us it is done via a secure server using Paypals 128 bit SSL encryption. (the highest available commercially) Alternatively you can pay us by cheque, BACS, or telephone us with credit/debit card details. Privacy Charnwood Books is committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998). Your personal information will only be used for the following reasons 1. Process of your order. 2. To contact you if we have a problem with your order. 3. Internal data analysis to improve the website and our service to you. (If you wish to prevent this happening you can usually modify your browser to prevent "cookies" from being stored). We will not let your details be used by a third party and we will give you the option to opt out of our marketing emails. The type of information we collect simply allows us to complete your order or enquiry 1. Name 2. Address 3. Phone Number 4. Email Address We don't store your credit card details. (See our security section) You can check the information we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we delete it or correct it. Delivery We acknowledge receipt of all orders and following receipt of an order aim to despatch within 24 hours (Monday to Friday). If we are unable to do so for any reason we will notify you. For overseas orders please request a shipping quotation. Please note, that shipments destined for overseas may be subject to local import duties and taxes. Claims for Damage/Loss in Transit If damage caused in transit please email sales@charnwoodbooks.co.uk within 3 days of receipt of the delivery. In the event of an order not arriving please email us within 14 days of notification of shipping. Returns Policy A full refund will be provided if not entirely satisfied for any reason. If a refund is required the item is to be returned unused (unless in case of fault) within 14 days of receipt. Please contact us before returning any goods. Liability We go to great lengths to try to ensure the products are of the highest quality. No guarantee can be given that any product is suitable for any particular purpose. It is, therefore, the buyer’s responsibility to ensure that the products are suitable for the intended purpose. Our liability is limited to the invoice value of the products.
